Two controls are required to initiate a search.They are "Groups & Categories" and "Age." To select keywords: depress and hold the mouse button(PC) or click on the menu bar(Mac) move the mouse to position the pointer over the choice you want release the mouse(PC)or click(Mac). The choice will be displayed as your keyword. The keywords you select will be in effect until you edit the search or initiate a new search. To edit a search deselect the keyword(s) you no longer want to use. Do this by using the same action required to select a keyword. Select new keyword(s). Clear all keywords by clicking the Reset Keywords button. When you are satisfied with your search, click the Results tab to start the product retrieval. Click a product in the Search Results table to view it in the Product screen. The products you have viewed will be designated "(viewed)" in the Search Results Table. You can drag the column widths to display the information you use most by positioning the cursor over the vertical bars in the title row. When the double arrow shows, drag to resize the column. Product The Product Screen displays all the information supplied by a manufacturer for a product. Click on the product photo to view another enlarged photo of the product. Click on the large photo to close it. Click on the Matching Sets tab to the right of the Product Name if it is black (not faded gray) to see the product as part of a group of products that go together. Click and hold on any menu with a small downward arrow to display a drop-down list of choices available. Select an attribute by releasing the mouse while the cursor is poised over the desired choice. Your choices will be displayed on this screen and on the Comparison and Wish List screens if you click "Hold to Compare" or "Send to Wish List." Send other choices for the product by changing the attributes and again clicking the "Hold to Compare" and/or "Send to Wish List" buttons. The Suggested Retail Price is the one we all try hard to beat! If the New Product designation is visible, the product was made available to consumers within the past six months. Click on the Description tab to view text about the product. Click on the Retailers tab to see where you might find the product. Click on the Awards tab to see what awards the product has received. Click on the "Hold to Compare" button to hold the product information for head to head comparison with other products on the Comparison Screen. Click the Comparison button on the Toolbar to access the Comparison screen any time you are ready to compare products. Click on the "Send to Wish List" button to add the product with the attributes you have selected to list of your favorite products - the things you would like to have. Click on the Wish List button on the Toolbar to access your wish list on the Wish List Screen. To view another product either (a) browse by clicking the large blue arrows, or (b) return to your search results list by clicking on the Search button on the Toolbar. There you can click on any product in the list. Comparison Use COMPARISON to view products and their information head-to-head. On the Comparison screen click on the Product tab to view a list of the products you sent for comparison. Click on a product of your choice. Then click the View button below either picture frame to see the product photo. Select another product from the list and click the other View button to place that product's photo next to the first selection. Continue this process to compare products, using the View button beneath the picture of the product you want to replace. Product attributes you selected while on the Product Screen are displayed on the Product tab. Reposition the table's columns to your preference by positioning the cursor in the table's title row over a vertical bar between columns and dragging right or left when the side arrow cursor is visible. To view different product attributes either:(a)double click on the product in the Product tab list or (b) single click the product in the tab list to select it, then click on the Product button on the Toolbar. Change attributes on the Product Screen and click the "Hold to Compare" button. Use the toolbar Comparison button to return to the Comparison Screen. Find the product with the attributes you selected in the Product tab list. Click the other tabs, Description, Retailers, and Awards to compare other information provided by the manufacturer. If more than one award is presented the text field can be activated by using the scroll bar to view all the awards information. To place a product on your Wish List, select the product and click the Send to Wish List button. Anytime you are ready to access your Wish List, click on the Wish List button on the Toolbar. Use the Remove button to remove a product from the compare products list. Manufacturers The MANUFACTURERS screen displays the names and logos of the manufacturers participating in baby-products.com™. Either (a) click on a logo; then click the "View Info" button to display a manufacturer's company information. or (b) click on a company in the scrolling list and click the "View Info" button to display that manufacturer's company information. This list provides a quick way to find a specific manufacturer. Manufacturer Info The MANUFACTURER INFO screen displays the information a manufacturer has provided about their company. Consumer Service, company awards, warranties and size charts are located on this screen. Wish List The WISH LIST screen displays an inventory of the products you selected as desirable for purchase. It records all of the attributes that you want, such as size and color.
